Matt began renovation work in 2002 while working as a store manager at Home Depot. What started as small projects around his own house soon grew to include larger renovations.
After working for a renovation company in Cincinnati, Matt began to specialize in carpentry and staircase work. His projects are still featured in many bars, restaurants, and private homes in the area.
Matt founded MJH Home Service in 2022 so that he could have more freedom to express his creativity and to satisfy customer dreams. His projects have ranged from small jobs to major renovations; backyard sheds to commercial accounts.
While some customers know exactly what they want, many rely on Matt’s experience to bring their vision to life, from design and budgeting to final execution.
Matt takes great pride in his work. What began with the renovation of his own home has grown into a business with more than 75 satisfied clients.
Matt believes that undertaking a project on any scale requires a measure of trust, something he stewards with great care. The quality of his portfolio is a legacy that he continues to build steadily with more than a decade of experience.
